NEP – PMU SIGNS PERFORMANCE BASED GRANT (PGB) AGREEMENT WITH VERTMANCE ENGINEERING.
The Nigeria Electrification Project (NEP), Project Management Unit (PMU) of Rural Electrification Agency (REA) on Friday, 5th August 2022 signed Performance Based Grant (PBG) agreement under the Solar Hybrid Mini Grid component with Vertmance Engineering and Construction Limited.
TThe Head, Project Management Unit (HPMU) – NEP, Anita Otubu carried out the signing agreement on behalf of the Managing Director/CEO – REA, Ahmad Salihijo Ahmad at the NEP conference room. In attendance was the Solar Hybrid Mini Grid, component Lead – Engr. Uche Hannah and other NEP team members as well as representatives of the company
Vertmance Engineering and Construction Limited will develop a Solar Mini Grid with a PV capacity of 373KWp that will connect 501 households and small business in Odo-Oro community, Ekiti State. The company also assured that this will be the first of many other projects and are willing to provide electricity to communities without access to power supply.
