PowerGen having successfully implemented the transformative project in Rokota community, Edati LGA, Niger State. The first project to be Commissioned for the Nigeria Electrification Project (NEP), under the Performance-Based Grant delivered a solar hybrid mini grid power plant within 2 months, a record time.
PowerGen having satisfied all of the criteria of the project is set for another round of mini grid installations across 9 communities in Niger State. The grant agreement signing for the performance based grant(PBG) moves the NEP, FGN, REA and WorldBank one step closer to jointly electrifying Nigeria one community at a time
