REA & PRIVIDA POWER LIMITED SIGN AGREEMENT FOR SOLAR MINI GRID UNDER NEP-PBG

The Rural Electrification Agency (REA) signed another NEP-PBG agreement on 24th January 2022 with Privida Power Limited to add to the gains made so far with other companies in respect of providing access to unserved and underserved peri-urban and rural communities in Nigeria.

Privida Power Limited is a renewable energy company qualified under the REA-NEP Solar Hybrid mini grid sub-component of Performance Based Grant (PBG). With this development, a total of 22,716 households and MSMEs across 25 sites in Kogi, Nasarawa and Benue state will enjoy clean, safe and reliable power supply for the first time.
