The MD/CEO, Rural Electrification Agency, Engr. Ahmad Salihijo Ahmad in collaboration with Technical Lead for the Solar Power Naija (5m connections) Programme, Engr. Suleiman Babamanu and Technical Assistant to the MD/CEO on Renewables and Off-grid Programmes, Mohammed Bello Jibril held an introductory briefing with various stakeholders from the Farmers’ Association of Nigeria (FAN) to discuss electrification possibilities that would see to the provision of solar power to farms and households in Nigeria. This is in line with the agency’s vision to electrify the agricultural Industries with clean, safe, reliable and affordable power supply to improve productivity and livelihoods of the farmers.
