Thursday, 25th November 2021, the Rural Electrification Agency (REA), signed contracts with two firms that will be providing consultancy services for the Energizing Education Programme Phase (EEP) III of the African Development Bank (AfDB) under the Nigeria Electrification Project (NEP).
The contracts were signed with Sustainability Limited to carry out an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), to identify the key environmental and social issues at the conceptual design phase as well as Soltech Limited, to conduct a Front-End-Engineering-Design (FEED) study to define the technical scope of work and programme execution for the EEP Phase III
In attendance at the signing ceremony were the Head, Project Management Unit, Anita Otubu, Component Lead, EEP Phase III-NEP/AfDB, Funmi Jones and other NEP Team members.
Meanwhile, Request for Proposal (RFP) under the EEP Phase II has been published and sent to all successful Initial Selected Bidders and acknowledgements are been received through their emails accordingly.
Commencement of the pre-proposal site inspection has been scheduled for 6th to 17th December 2021, whilst the pre=proposal conference is scheduled for 20th December 2021 respectively.
