On Monday, July 8, 2024, the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) in collaboration with the World Bank, convened a high-level, closed-door strategic session to discuss progress updates on the DARES project. This exclusive gathering brought together key stakeholders and experts to share insights, address challenges, and align strategies for the project’s successful implementation.


The DARES project, aimed at enhancing access to reliable and sustainable energy, is a flagship initiative of the REA and World Bank. The session provided a platform for in-depth discussions, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem-solving, ensuring the project’s objectives are achieved efficiently and effectively.
