Access to electricity is a fundamental catalyst for economic development, improved livelihoods, and social
progress. In Nigeria, where millions still live without reliable power, the Rural Electrification Agency (REA)
through the Nigeria Electrification Programme (NEP) is at the forefront of addressing this challenge.

The transformative power of electricity is evident in the countless stories we encounter - from improved
healthcare to enhanced educational opportunities, the impact of the NEP is profound. One particularly
poignant experience was visiting a rural health centre in Adafila, Oyo State that had been without electricity
for 22 years. In this day and age, it is almost impossible to imagine living without electricity for 22 years.
Sadly, this is the reality for many communities across Nigeria. Fortunately, the arrival of solar power in

Adafila revolutionized the operations of this health centre, enabling them to provide essential services
                     around the clock.
